10 Things I Hate About You (1999) - Showtime 5:30P
She's the Man (2006) - Showtime 7:00P
So we are doing a whole Shakespeare retooled to appeal to today's youth night (AKA Shakespeare for dummies).
Taming of the Shrew? I don't get it. Oh, 10 things I hate about you... now I know that Shakespeare was writing about who's going to go the prom, the medieval prom that is (suggestive nodding).
Twelfth Night? I'm confused. Oh, the sweet mercy of Amanda Bynes' comedic timing. Now I see that Shakespeare was just telling a tale of cross dressing soccer players (or footballers as my friends across the pond might say). Genius!
Who needs cliffs notes when you can just watch these classic teen romantic comedies.

Who knew those movies could be so deep?? And who needs to read cliff notes when you can just numb your mind to the tv screen for a couple of hours and gain all the knowledge that way? I am a little disappointed though that there was no mention of Leonardo Di Caprio's stellar role in Romeo and Juliet. Where else can you hear Leo reciting in iambic pentameter with their guns appropriately named after swords?
